Conceived on a remarkably compact 117.46 sqm urban parcel, this boutique hotel explores the challenge of accommodating an intensive hospitality programme without compromising functionality or guest experience. The primary design challenge was to efficiently plan 12 guest rooms alongside a 50-PAX food and beverage programme comprising an indoor restaurant and rooftop café, within an exceptionally limited footprint.
The planning was developed through careful room stacking, circulation optimisation and precise spatial allocation, ensuring that every square metre contributed to the overall experience. Rather than allowing the constraints to dictate a compressed environment, the design uses vertical planning and a dedicated rooftop experience to expand the functional and social character of the hotel. The result is a compact yet efficient hospitality development that demonstrates how spatial optimisation, vertical planning and programme integration can transform a highly constrained site into a commercially viable and experiential destination.
