Project Description

A compact footprint, opened towards the Ganga.

Set on a compact 215.60 SQM site between the Ganga and the bustling Haridwar Road in Rishikesh, Anant Ganga Boutique Hotel explores how a dense urban footprint can be transformed into a calm, light-filled retreat. The primary challenge was to balance the intensity of the road-facing edge with the openness and serenity of the river beyond, while creating a sense of spaciousness within a highly constrained footprint.

The design responds through carefully controlled openings, screened façades, double-height volumes, a central light well and layered greenery that bring privacy, daylight and a connection to nature deep into the building. Earthy materials, restrained detailing and ambient lighting create a durable yet understated hospitality experience — turning physical constraints into a defining part of the guest experience.
